The On The House version of Theme Hospital is the complete, full version of the game (it’s from a time before DLC…), and will only be available for free for a limited time. Its plain but effective 3D isometric graphics, twisted sense of humour (have fun blasting rats and don't forget to check out your employees' CVs) and addictive gameplay all combine to make this a great blast from the past. You may also refuse difficult patients and send them to another hospital to overload them, but should they manage them, they will make more money! Although perhaps a touch simple compared to modern games, Theme Hospital is still a worthy game.
VIP patients are proposed to everyone simultaneously, the quickest player to accept will get it. Everyone share the same community of sick people and the goal is to make more money than the others.
Up to 4 players can compete with their own hospital, close to the others.
Graphics are cartoonish and very well animated, diseases are totally hilarious (especially the descriptions) and a really funny multiplayer mode:
Hard to find any flaw in Theme Hospital, the game was critically acclaimed and had a lot of success.
